I haven't seen The Missouri Breaks in, um, lemme think, 15 years? I remember it being awful, but I also put it in my Netflix queue, like, a year ago, so something must've made me want to watch it again.

Robert E. Lee Clayton is certainly a different character! I love it when Nicholson shoots into the tub and says, "You're not even there."
I think Some Kind of Wonderful is the best to come out of the teen-movie boom and I always really dug Watts, and I loved the ending because of her. She deserved it.
Max Fisher is one of my alter egos - since I direct drama at a high school - and sometimes we put together some unconventional stuff written by me and if we do a standard play we always add a battle scene or something to juice it up a little. Characters inspire.

I have not seen The Missouri Breaks but have heard many intriguing things. It seems to be the ultimate Brando-goofing-off performance (wesn't a lot of his character's behavior invented by him rather than existing already in the script)?
